Tilghman standout Jackson Fristoe drafted by New York Yankees

The New York Yankees drafted Paducah Tilghman standout and Mississippi State sophomore Jackson Fristoe in the 12th round of the 2022 MLB Draft on Tuesday.

With his selection, Fristoe became the 370th overall pick by the Yankees.

While at Mississippi State, Fristoe had a 3-4 record this past season with a 7.96 ERA. In his rookie season, he had a record of 3-3 on the mound, with a 5.69 ERA while helping State to a National Championship.
