The West Kentucky Star Teacher of the Month Contest sponsored by Scott Walker Construction is now in its 6th year. Over the last five years the contest awarded over $3000 to area teachers and now the monthly price is up to $100 with one of those lucky teachers winning the new yearly prize of $500.
There is one single nomination/voting period for each voting period. Once a teacher’s name is on the ballot, it will stay on there so anyone can click and vote. A good rule of thumb is that if you hear a radio commercial about the contest, voting is open and will remain open until the date listed on the contest page.
