The annual Camp Graves Job, Education, and Community Resource Fair is set for this Saturday.
The event will take place at the Mayfield High School Gymnasium on Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and will offer information about jobs, education, and community resources. The gym is located at 700 Douthitt Street in Mayfield.
Organizers say to bring your resume if you're looking for a job, as a number of employers will be on hand. Some of those employers may even do on-the-spot interviews.
There will also be lots of information for those seeking to advance their education. Representatives from schools and education programs will be present to help find the right path for you.
Organizations that specialize in helping those in times of need will be there, too. Not knowing where to begin when a need arises can be frustrating. This event brings those groups together, highlighting the types of programs and services they offer.
Camp Graves was created for those suffering hardships after the 2021 tornado. Even though recovery has progressed significantly in Mayfield and Graves County over the last four years, Camp Graves continues to find ways to serve the community.
