WPKY reports that the program will be a patriotic evening with music and recognition.
The program starts at 7:00 pm at First Christian Church. It will feature the Dawson Springs Community Chorus, accompanist Mary Beth Coy, local vocalists of all ages, and the Christian Church bell choir.
Organizers say the America250 musical tribute is designed to bring residents together, while honoring those who have served the country. Special recognition will be given to members of the Armed Forces and Vietnam Veterans, as part of the 250th anniversary commemoration. They say it is a chance to celebrate local talent while marking an important milestone in the nation's history.
There will be a community reception after the program.
