Paducah Mayor proclaims March as Mary Yeiser Month

In honor of the 65th anniversary of the Yeiser Art Center, Mayor George Bray proclaimed March as Mary Yeiser Month.

In 1957 Mary Yeiser and other fellow artists founded the Paducah Art Guild, which changed its name to honor her in 1990 to the Yeiser Art Center.

Lexie Millikan, Executive Director of the Yeiser Art Center, accepted the proclamation at Tuesday's Paducah City Commission meeting.
