One McCracken County Commissioner has announced his intention to run for reelection, and the Judge-Executive will make his announcement Monday night.

Bill Bartleman has spent the last 50 years serving Paducah and McCracken County, first as a newsman and for the last eleven as a commissioner. He made his announcement last week with a statement saying he has "been part of a fiscal court team that has made bold decisions to improve the quality of life, create economic development opportunities, and improve services to put the county on track for a bright future for our children and grandchildren."

Bartleman is seeking a fourth term following a 39-year career as a newspaper reporter.

Meanwhile, McCracken County Judge-Executive Craig Clymer said in a release that he would make his announcement about whether he will seek another term just before Monday's Fiscal Court meeting at the courthouse.
