Benton man jailed on theft charges

A Benton man was arrested Wednesday on theft charges.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office said 30 year old Luke Hall was charged with theft by unlawful taking under $10,000.

The charges stem from an investigation into a missing utility trailer from the Jonathan Creek Water District Office.  

Investigators said Hill drove up and hooked to the trailer and drove away with it on August 28th. 

The trailer has not been recovered at this time. It is described as a black 10ft, dovetail with gate and wood floor.
