According to KYTN, the Obion County Sheriff's Office reports a water rescue southwest of Union City resulted in the recovery of the body of 52-year-old Mike Barker, of Hornbeak.
Emergency personnel say Barker was reportedly in a kayak with a trolling motor at a private pond, when it apparently capsized.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene after family members became concerned.
The Sheriff's Office said the incident has been ruled as an accident.
