Bridge work in southern Graves County begins Monday

Work on the bridge deck and structure of the Terrapin Branch Bridge along KY 97 in southern Graves County gets underway on Monday.

Contractors for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will need to restrict traffic to one lane as they take on the deck overlay and maintenance project. For trucks and equipment, the work zone will be restricted to one lane and a maximum width of 11 feet.

Traffic across the bridge, located less than a mile north of the Tennessee State Line, will be controlled by an automated signal. The restrictions will be in place around the clock through the targeted completion date of April 28th.
