Caldwell and Trigg counties have been added to the list of counties approved by President Trump for assistance in recovering from the flooding and storm damage of May 16-17.
Governor Beshear made the request on May 20 for individual assistance for residents and households in six counties. The other counties in the latest round of approvals also include Union, Laurel, Pulaski and Russell. Additional designations may be added at a later date.
The governor’s request for individual assistance for Christian and Todd counties is still under review.
Residents and business owners who sustained losses in the designated areas can begin applying for assistance at DisasterAssistance.gov , by calling 800-621-FEMA or by using the FEMA App.
