Light rain sprinkled through this week's forecast

Small chances of light rain showers will continue through tonight and into Wednesday morning.

A more widespread round of showers and thunderstorms will impact the region Thursday afternoon into Friday.

Small chances for rain are also forecast Saturday afternoon and again Sunday afternoon.

Temperatures will be slightly below normal in the 70s through Friday, then warm to near normal values in the 80s this weekend into early next week.
