Crash through several Reidland yards sends man to hospital

A crash near Reidland sent one man to the hospital on Saturday night.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said the crash occurred at about 10:20 p.m. along Kentucky Dam Road near the McCracken-Marshall County line. Neighbors heard the crash and came out to assist 27-year-old Lorenzo Hernandez of Union City. 

Deputies determined that Hernandez ran off the road through several yards, hit an embankment, and stopped in a ditch. 

Hernandez was taken to the hospital. Deputies believed alcohol could have been a factor.
