Drug arrest made after search of McCracken County residence

A drug investigation by detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office Drug Division resulted in an arrest on Friday.

Detectives looked into suspected illegal drug activity at a residence on Clarks River Road. During execution of the search warrant, detectives located 47-year-old Keith L. Knight inside the residence. 

During the search, detectives located five separate bags containing suspected crystal methamphetamine, along with cash believed to be proceeds from illegal drug sales. 

Knight was arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail, charged with trafficking. 

At the time of his arrest, Knight was on felony probation from previous drug trafficking offenses.
