Daytime work zone planned Monday along US 68 in Trigg County

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans a daytime work zone along U.S. 68/Canton Road in Trigg County starting on Monday.

A crew will be milling and paving in smaller sections along U.S. 68/Canton Road from about the 0.23- to 8.28-mile points. This project will span from the U.S. 68/KY 80 Eggners Ferry Bridge over Kentucky Lake to the U.S. 68/KY 80 Cumberland River/Lake Barkley Bridge.

Work is expected to be completed in approximately three weeks, weather permitting. This is part of a $3.16 million asphalt resurfacing project.
