An Elkton man has been charged with murder following a shooting in Todd County.
Kentucky State Police identified 24-year-old Jerell Edmonds as the suspect in the incident. Edmonds was arrested and charged with murder, assault, and possession of marijuana. He was booked into the Todd County Jail.
Troopers were called Sunday morning at about 9:20 a.m. after passersby saw a male with what appeared to be gunshot wounds lying in the middle of Springmont Circle in Guthrie. The victim was identified as 24-year-old Evan Hall of Guthrie. There was a second victim at the scene, as well, who was allegedly injured by Edmonds.
The incident is still under investigation.
