Carlisle County bridge work to restrict US 51 near Arlington

An extended lane restriction along US 51 in Carlisle County to allow for construction of a new bridge begins Tuesday.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane just north of Arlington with a temporary signal until the project is completed.

Access to Railroad Street at its intersection with KY 877 and US 51 will be closed.

An 11.5-foot lane width restriction will also be in effect.
