Fatal crash under investigation in Marshall County

A fatal crash is under investigation Friday in Marshall County.

The crash happened just before 7 a.m. on the northbound side of US 641 between Hardin Wadesboro Road and Brewers Highway near Hardin. Reports indicated that a vehicle collided with the back of a semi at that location. Investigators from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police were conducting an accident reconstruction at the scene and closed that segment of northbound US 641.

While a post from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the crash included a fatality, no other details were released.
