A former Paducah Police officer accused of voyeurism and other crimes potentially involving McCracken County students has been indicted, according to the Kentucky Attorney General’s Office.

The Attorney General’s Special Prosecutions Unit sought the indictment of 41-year-old Ryan Conn of Paducah from a McCracken County Grand Jury. Conn was picked up on an arrest warrant by Border Patrol and Port Authority police in San Diego. He has since been extradited back to Kentucky.

The indictment alleges that Conn had hidden cameras set up in a bathroom and guest room in his Paducah home. Prosecutors said that Conn recorded four minors as young as 12 between July and August of 2024. He is also reportedly charged in a voyeurism case involving a woman. That charge stems from an incident that occurred in February 2025.

Detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office were tipped off to an alleged inappropriate sexual relationship between Conn and a McCracken County student during Conn’s time as a volunteer wrestling coach. The tip said it happened while the reported victim was still a student.

Conn is charged with promoting a sexual performance by a minor under 16, promoting a sexual performance by a minor under 18, possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor under 18, tampering with a witness, and voyeurism.

Assistant Attorney General Richie Kemp is prosecuting the case on behalf of the Commonwealth.
