A Fort Campbell soldier was found dead in an apartment in Clarksville on Saturday and the case is being investigated as a homicide.
Clarksville Police and EMS were called to an apartment in the 900 block of Tiny Town Road on Saturday night at about 8:30 p.m. According to WKDZ, Clarksville Police Public Information Officer Scott Beaubien said that inside the apartment officers found the body of 23-year-old Katia Duenas-Aguilar, of Mesquite, Texas. Police provided no additional details other than to say the investigation is ongoing.
Duenas-Aguilar was a Private First Class and an Information Technology Specialist on active duty since 2018.
