New details were released Wednesday about the manhunt and capture of Ronnie Sharp.

Calloway County Sheriff Nicky Knight said his department got a call about a suspicious vehicle in the Bakers Crossroad area. Deputies determined that the vehicle belonged to Sharp. More deputies responded, as did deputies from Henry County, Tennessee, and Calloway County Fire and Rescue with their drone.

Sharp was spotted on a four wheeler along Brandon Road, kicking off another pursuit. Sharp crashed the ATV just across the Tennessee line and forced his way into a home on State Street in Hazel.

Henry County deputies arrested Sharp at the occupied home, and he was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Thirty-three new charges against Sharp include theft by unlawful taking of an automobile, receiving stolen property, fleeing and evading, wanton endangerment, criminal mischief, possession of meth, and a litany of traffic offenses. Sheriff Knight indicated there would be even more charges coming.

It has been an eventful two weeks for Sharp, as he evaded police on several occasions along the US 641 corridor. That even prompted a reward from Marshall County Crime Stoppers.

On Tuesday night the Marshall County Sheriff's Office alerted the public to a heavy law enforcement presence in the area of Tubbs and Bryant Road where they said they were on the lookout for Sharp.

Sharp was also allegedly the driver of an SUV pursued through Calloway County and Henry County on Monday.

Henry County officials alerted Calloway County deputies to the pursuit they were involved in Monday afternoon before the driver crossed into Kentucky where the Calloway deputies joined the pursuit along KY 893.

Sharp was reportedly fleeing at a high rate of speed, before driving through fields while trying to get away. The chase continued down State Line Road to Osborne Road back toward the Tennessee line. He then left the road again and headed through fields into a wooded area before crashing the vehicle into a tree where he then fled on foot.

K-9's from Marshall and Henry County, along with Calloway deputies searched the area while also using a drone from Calloway County Fire and Rescue but were unable to locate Sharp at that time.

Calloway County Sheriff Nicky Knight had asked for the public's help locating Sharp on July 18th. He had also avoided capture on July 20th.

Sharp was wanted on a series of outstanding warrants, including those related to a pursuit in March. In that incident, Sharp is charged with fleeing or evading police, wanton endangerment, criminal mischief, and a host of traffic violations.

Sharp also was wanted on warrants for failure to appear in Marshall and Calloway Counties, one of those includes possession of a firearm and a handgun by a convicted felon. He has also been charged with bail jumping in that case.

Sharp was also wanted on a parole violation warrant, and is a suspect in a theft in Henry County.
