Local gas prices steady as national average goes up

Gas prices in West Central Kentucky are steady this week while the national average has increased.

Triple A's East Central Gas Report indicates the region average stayed the same this week at $2.75 per gallon while Paducah's average price was a penny higher at $2.76.

Nationally, the average went up two cents to $3.18.  Part of the hike nationally is dued to a pipeline outage which is causing higher prices in Oregon and Washington.
