As the summer travel season is underway, gas prices are falling across the region.
Triple A reports the average price for a gallon of regular gas in West Central Kentucky this week is $3.70, down 25 cents from a week ago.
The area average is 46 cents cheaper than the national average of $4.16, which is actually 16 cents cheaper than two weeks ago.
It was also noted in the Triple A report, Kentucky's $3.77 average per gallon is one of the least expensive in the nation. The state average is the ninth least expensive in the country.
