Governor Beshear joins local officials for groundbreaking in Hopkins County

Governor Andy Beshear was in Hopkins County Tuesday to join local officials for groundbreaking ceremonies for E. Hoffman Packaging.

The company's first US operation will cost $43 million dollars and bring 164 jobs to the Hopkins County area.  E. Hoffman Packaging produces plastic containers, lids and buckets.

The 100,000 square foot facility is slated to open next year.
