The haebus corpus petition filed in the case of former HOPE Calloway executive director Nathan Carter was dismissed last week.
The Murray Sentinel reported Saturday the haebus corpus petition filed February 6th was dismissed after the 40 year old Carter of Kirksey posted the $100,000 cash bond. Carter was arrested February 4th after alleged financial discrepencies were found during his tenure.
Carter allegedly took $52,000 for personal use. He resigned from the position in December and will appear for arraignment in Calloway Circuit Court Tuesday.
