Hardin man indicted on murder charge after January shooting

A Hardin man accused of the murder of another man back in January was formally indicted on Monday. 

According to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, 37-year-old Aaron S. Dripps was served with the indictment warrant charging him in the shooting death of 51-year-old Stephen Odom on January 25th. 

The shooting happened at a home on West Unity Church Road. Authorities found Odom dead from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. 

Dripps was arrested and charged with murder and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. He is now also charged with trafficking in cocaine, possession of marijuana, and terroristic threatening.
