Hazel man arrested on drug and other charges Sunday night

Calloway County Sheriff's deputies arrested a Hazel man on drug and other charges Sunday night.

Deputies were attempting to execute an arrest warrant for a subject believed to be located at a residence on Stateline Road East.

During the course of the investigation, deputies made contact with another individual, identified as 69-year-old Donald Galloway of Hazel, who was found to be in possession of illicit drugs and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.

A criminal history check revealed that Galloway had multiple prior felony convictions and was also in possession of handguns.

Galloway was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance-methamphetamine, possession of a hand gun by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was  lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.
