A high-speed pursuit from Marshall County into Graves County on Wednesday night resulted in a search for a suspect just north of Symsonia.
Marshall County Sheriff's deputies tried to stop a vehicle along I-69, but the driver refused to stop. The fleeing vehicle topped 100 mph and committed several other traffic violations. The driver of the vehicle fled on foot in Graves County near KY 131 and Woodland Drive at about 8 pm.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Office said that a quantity of drugs were found in the abandoned vehicle, and the search for the suspect came up empty.
By 10 pm, deputies on the scene believed that the suspect may have been picked up and left the area. No description of the suspect has been released.
