Continued dry and mostly sunny skies are expected today through the Fourth of July and the first half of the weekend.
The National Weather Service in Paducah says slightly above normal temperatures in the low to mid 90s and higher humidity is expected for the rest of the week.
An unsettled weather pattern develops next week with chances of showers and thunderstorms returning Sunday night and persisting into next week.
The midweek chance of rain could also bring temperatures down under 90 degrees.
