I-24 crash in Lyon County injures one

A one-vehicle crash on I-24 in Lyon County Thursday, October 1st, injured one person.

According to the Lyon County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to the 40 mile marker for an injury collision.

Their investigation found that 21-year-old Abel B. Jones, of Louisville, was westbound when the vehicle dropped off the shoulder of the left lane, and after over correcting, the vehicle left the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment.

Jones reportedly sustained minor injuries in the crash, but declined to be taken to a hospital for treatment.
