Illegal accused of scamming at Lone Oak intersection

A man accused of scamming people at a Paducah intersection is in the U.S. illegally.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the man and his associates. Reportedly, the man is in the United States illegally and has been previously deported.

They said that the group was seen at Lone Oak Road and North Friendship Road soliciting money, which they said was for the funeral of a child. Deputies said that there is no child and that this is a scam. They are asking everyone to share the information so others are not taken advantage of by the group.
