Boyd named chairman of Paducah Area Chamber

The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce has named its new chairman for 2026.

According to a news release, Kenny Boyd, President of Baptist Health Paducah, will serve in the role.  Boyd has served in health care for more than 20 years and before joining Baptist Health, he was chief operating officer for Maury Regional Health in Columbia, TN.  He has also had leadership roles at medical facilities in Illinois, Kansas and Virginia.

Todd Buchanan, President of GEO Consultants Corporation, was elected Chair Elect.  New board members joining for 2026 are Jim Garrett with Paducah-McCracken County Riverport Authority and Angela Mathis with Community Federal Savings Bank.

The new members will begin their roles January 1st.
