Kentucky State Police Post 1 received a report on March 18 of an inappropriate sexual relationship between an adult male and a juvenile female.

Initial investigation revealed that 28-year-old Joshua Booth of Bardwell had engaged in sexual acts with a 16-year-old female in Carlisle County. That investigation determined Booth was aware of the juvenile's age at the time of the sexual relationship.

Booth was arrested Saturday and charged with third-degree rape, third-degree sodomy, and unlawful transaction with a minor - illegal sex act.

The investigation determined that 50-year-old Scott Wilson of Bardwell had been in a caretaking role of the juvenile at the time of her relationship with Booth. Investigators discovered that Wilson had placed hidden cameras in the juvenile's bedroom and bathroom of the residence.

After admitting to having a video recording of the juvenile engaging in sexual performance, Wilson refused to turn the recording over to KSP. Wilson also allegedly tampered with the cameras and removed them before KSP troopers could execute the search warrant at the residence. On Friday, Wilson was arrested and charged him with video voyeurism, possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, and tampering with physical evidence.
