Kuttawa woman arrested on drug indictment

A Kuttawa woman was arrested on a drug indictment over the weekend.

The Lyon County Sheriff's Office said around 7 Saturday night, 47-year-old Amanda H. Deaton of Kuttawa was found off Christian Oak Road.  

Deaton was the subject of an indictment from Lyon Circuit Court charging her with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance nvolving more than  two grams of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The indictment was the result of a drug trafficking investigation into Deaton led by the Lyon County Sheriff's Office and members of the Western Kentucky Violent Crime Task Force. Deaton was lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center.
