Ledbetter woman arrested on prostitution charges at Paducah hotel

A Ledbetter woman is facing prostitution charges following her arrest Friday at a Paducah hotel.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said they had been made aware in the past of a website being used to post prostitution ads. On Friday a Sheriff’s an undercover Sheriff’s detective contacted a woman, later identified as 40-year-old Karla Hessler, who had posted a prostitution ad on the site. Hessler reportedly sent the detective a photo and a price list for sexual services. Hessler then directed the detective to a local hotel located on Hinkleville Road.

Detectives located Hessler  a short time later and placed her under arrest for prostitution. Detectives executed a search warrant for Hessler’s hotel room and allegedly found small quantities of cocaine, marijuana, and Xanax.
