Marion men charged in drug death from 2023

A pair of Marion men have been charged in a reported fentanyl death from 2023.

According to The Crittenden Press, 35-year-old Dustin McKinney and 29-year-old Andrew Bryan were arrested on Friday night at about 8 p.m. by Crittenden County Sheriff Evan Head. A Crittenden County Grand Jury handed down separate sealed felony indictments against the two.

The Press indicated that the indictments stem from the apparent fentanyl-related death of a 22-year-old man in 2023 at McKinney’s Greenwood Heights home.

Marion Police have been investigating the case. McKinney and Bryan were booked into the Crittenden County Detention Center.
