Mayfield man charged after naked incident in the street

A Mayfield man has been charged after an incident in which he was found swinging sticks in the street.

Mayfield Police were called on Monday after reports of a man swinging what was believed to be a bat in the middle of the street. When officers got there, though, they found 63-year-old Leonard Starks naked and swinging two sticks. Officers determined Starks to be under the influence of illegal drugs. Their investigation suggested he had allegedly done a significant amount of damage to the inside of a home nearby.  

Starks was charged with menacing, disorderly conduct, public intoxication on a controlled substance, indecent exposure, criminal mischief, and resisting arrest.
