Mayfield woman arrested for being intoxicated after scooter collision

A Mayfield woman was arrested for being under the influence after a scooter crash on Friday.

Mayfield Police were called to a crash but found that the collision was actually between a vehicle and a scooter. The driver of the battery-powered scooter, 33-year-old Shamequia Holliman of Mayfield, was arrested after officers determined she was under the influence of intoxicants. 

Holliman was arrested and charged with operating a non-motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants as well as driving with no license- neglect in an accident.
