Paducah and McCracken County recently hosted the Energy Communities Alliance Forum, largely due to the former United State Energy Corporation plant in western McCracken County. Attendees came from a wide range of countries.
At Monday's McCracken County Fiscal Court meeting, Judge-executive Craig Clymer and county commissioner Bill Bartleman noted the connections made with government officials and others from various countries who attended the event.
The two said developing those relationships holds great potential in today's highly-connected world.
