Metropolis men accused of throwing brick at a vehicle

Two men were taken into custody Sunday by Metropolis police after they were advised someone threw a brick at a vehicle on 9th Street near Southgate Nursing Home.

Police said 19-year-old Evan L. Junkins of Metrpolis was located in the 700 block of East 8th Street.  He got into a struggle with officers after being apprehended, and was charged with resisting arrest and criminal damage.

A second suspect, 19-year-old Daniel T. Ramierez, also of Metropolis, was charged with criminal damage.
