Metropolis water main break affects pressure citywide

The city of Metropolis issued a public safety message Monday afternoon that a large water main break has affected water pressure across the city.

There is not a timeline for when the water main is expected to be repaired.

Meanwhile, the entire city is under a boil water advisory until further notice.
