Murray woman jailed on drug charge following traffic stop

A Murray woman was arrested on a drug charge following a traffic stop early Thursday.

Calloway County Sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle along Chesnut Street in Murray at about 2:30 a.m. Thursday following an alleged traffic violation. Deputies discovered a bench warrant for the driver, 32-year-old Taylor Boggess of Murray, charging her with non-payment of court costs in a different case. Deputies also reportedly found methamphetamine in the vehicle. 

Boggess was arrested on the warrant in addition to a meth possession charge. She was taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
