New Concord woman arrested on drug charge, as police searched for someone else

A New Concord woman was arrested on a drug charge Thursday morning while police were looking for someone else.

Deputies with the Calloway County Sheriff's Office were looking for a wanted individual just after 12:30 a.m. Thursday at a home on Kline Trail. The person they were looking for was not there, but deputies found 44-year-old Misty Mancell at the home. Mancell was alleged to have been in possession of methamphetamine at the time. 

Mancell was charged with meth possession and taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
