Nighttime work zone continues this week on Interstate 24 in Marshall County

A nighttime work zone on Interstate 24 in Marshall County continues this week as part of a project to reinforce the shoulders of two bridges: the I-24 bridge over U.S. 62 at Exit 27/Kentucky Dam and the Tennessee River Bridge at the Marshall-Livingston County Line.

I-24 traffic will experience lane restrictions in the work zone and detours with assistance from law enforcement.

Lane Restrictions and Detour Schedule:

Oct. 13 and 14 – I-24 Eastbound near the Tennessee River Bridge

Lane restrictions from 7-9 p.m.; followed by a detour from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Detour Route: Exit 27 to U.S. 62 and KY 453, returning to I-24 eastbound at Exit 31.

Oct. 15 – I-24 Westbound near the Tennessee River Bridge

Lane restrictions from 7-9 p.m.; followed by a detour from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Detour Route:  Exit 31 to KY 453 and U.S. 62, returning to I-24 westbound at Exit 27.
