A Nortonville man died after being struck by a vehicle along US 41 in Hopkins County.
Hopkins County Dispatch called in Kentucky State Police from Post 2 just before 6 p.m. Tuesday after the incident at the intersection of US 41 and Old Nortonville-White Plains Road. Troopers believe a car traveling along US 41 struck and killed 70-year-old Joseph Davis of Nortonville as he was reportedly standing in the roadway.
Davis was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hopkins County Coroner.
KSP is continuing to investigate the collision.
