The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office said they arrested a Paducah man after detectives used a cooperating source to buy drugs from the suspect more than once in August.
Detectives said their ongoing narcotics investigation began on August 12. Law enforcement said that during the controlled purchases from the suspect on the 12th and 20th they obtained about 26 grams of suspected methamphetamine and several oxycodone pills.
On Monday detectives arrested 46-year-old Jesse Bealmear after they stopped his vehicle as he was leaving his camper on Shemwell Lane. Investigators said a search at the camper found meth and marijuana.
Bealmear is in custody at the McCracken County Regional Jail. He faces charges including trafficking in meth and oxycodone and possession of marijuana.
