A Paducah man was arrested Saturday night after causing a disturbance at a residence in the 10000 block of Old Hinkleville Road.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said Monday  they received a call indicating 35-year-old Ryan J. Ellis was actively damaging the caller's property. Ellis is said to have then retrieved a handgun from a nearby home and fired numerous rounds into the caller's residence while occupied by the caller and another individual.

Deputies and officers from the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, Paducah Police, the Ballard County Sheriff's Office and the Carlisle County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and were able to quickly take Ellis into custody.

Ellis faces numerous charges including:  public intoxication- controlled substance , wanton endagerment,         burgulary, violation of conditions of release, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon among charges.  Ellis was lodged in the McCracken County Detention Center.  The investigation is continuing.
