A Paducah pair is facing drug charges after an investigation conducted by the McCracken County Sheriff's Office and the Kentucky Department of Probation and Parole.

Probation and Parole officers called in the McCracken County Sheriff's Office before performing a check at the Clark's River Road home of 44-year-old David Bellamy. Bellamy was on probation after his conviction on methamphetamine trafficking charges. When detectives searched the home, they reportedly located about 23 grams of crystal meth along with paraphernalia that suggested trafficking.

Bellamy and 27-year-old Michelle Jackson of Paducah, who was in the home at the time of the search, were arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Bellamy was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jackson was charged with possession of meth.

The investigation is continuing.
