Paducah police investigating Monroe Street shooting

Paducah police are asking for information in connection with a shooting that took place on Monroe Street late last night.

Officers received a call about shots fired and they discovered spent shell casings in the 2200 and 2700 blocks of Monroe Street. 

They said a single projectile had struck a residence during the incident. No one in the residence was injured.

Officers learned that a man who was involved in the incident had been shot in the foot and was treated at a local hospital and released.
