Road back open in Hickman after blocked by overturned semi

KY 1463 was reopened in the city of Hickman after a semi overturned on Thursday morning.

The route is currently being used as the detour for ongoing construction at the intersection of KY 1099 and KY 125.

According to KYTC, the speed limit on KY 1463 has now been reduced to 25 mph in the work zone detour. Signs will be posted.

The new speed limit will remain in effect for rest of the road work, which is expected to be finished by November.
