Paducah trio arrested in ongoing drug investigation

Three Paducah residents were arrested last week in connection with an ongoing drug investigation.

According to the Paducah Police Department, detectives tried to stop a vehicle last Wednesday, but the driver, 26-year-old Jacob Feltner, did not stop. Officers didn’t chase the vehicle, but they soon found it near his home on Cedar Avenue.

Police seized the vehicle and served a search warrant at the home, but Feltner was not home at the time. While searching the home, two other people were arrested. They were identified as 44-year-old John Carlson and 31-year-old Ashley Taber.

Detectives later found Feltner on Friday and took him into custody.

Feltner was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and fleeing or evading police.

Carlson and Taber's charges included possession of a controlled substance.
